"Every Little Boy Needs A Sand Box"...

The place (where bushes a drip line and loads of weeds used to be) had been prepped and ready for sand. We wanted "real" sand so we headed out to the sand dunes. After about 50 shovels full (25 each for Stacey and I) we looked at each other and couldn't believe what we got ourselves into! It was super darn hot, the wind was blowing sand in my eyes, a bee was hovering around our heads and we barely made a heap in the back of the truck. I laughed and told Stacey that I can't believe that my parents did this when we were little to give us a sand box! He said "every little boy need a sandbox!" (so do girls! It made for a great ingredient in our bakery! Remember sisters & neighborhood friends?!) so we kept on shoveling while those words kept rolling through my head to keep me going! I thought for sure we would have to make a couple of trips. We loaded it as full as we could, lost quite a bit along the way....unloaded it into the box and guess what! We had enough! Just right actually. (thank goodness!) We were so happy....Logan especially! He got right to playing and has enjoyed it daily since! P.S. Boston loves it too! ....and my house is full of sand!
