{Derby Power}...

We had a great time at the good ol' Demolition Derby Saturday night! We had never been before and thought it would be a fun thing to take Logan to. We got there 30 minutes before it started and there was long lines already at the gates! We couldn't believe how many people were there...I guess we were thinking it would be pretty low key. I have to say it was fun. I got pretty into it! Logan kept looking at me with a huge grin every time I was like "OOOOOOHHHHH!" "GET EM"....
The funniest thing is that they stamped our hands with a "D" stamp. Logan thought that was so cool and kept showing me throughout the night. I made up a little thing called "DERBY POWER" --- we bumped each other's "D" hands together and yell "DERBY POWER"! He thinks it is the greatest! He was pretty upset today when the last sign of his "D" disappeared. I finally had to tell him that we still have "DERBY POWER" even though our "D's" are gone. That just means that they went inside us to make our power stronger! He was satisfied with that and continues to have derby power even though he gets confused at what hand had it in the first place! He stares at them like....hmmmm which one was it... he cracks me up!

Anyways it was good times. We saw interesting people! It's funny that we live in a considerably small town and I never saw one person who looked slightly familiar. I did however take home a little souvenir...a large white circle on the butt of my black carpi's from where the dried bird crap from the bleachers were.....note to self: next time bring a blanket to sit on!
