December Happenings...

I love December- there is such a different feeling in the air. Even though life is SO busy right now...especially with picture orders & designing Christmas cards for clients...I somehow feel at piece & cheerful. I know however that my body is stressed because I am now on my 2nd fever blister in the last 3 weeks. Arg. I haven't had one for such a long time. I used to get really big & awful cold sores & fever blisters but they usually stay reasonably small now...thank goodness. I'm very sad to say though that Logan had his first one 2 weeks ago...I think I am the one to blame. I tried so hard to not let him get near my mouth or touch/drink from anything I've used...but I guess I wasn't careful enough. Funny thing is that Stacey has never gotten one. But Logan's was very small; in fact I wasn't sure what it was for a day or so.

Yesterday Logan & I enjoyed the early afternoon shoveling snow for the first time of the season. Stacey usually plows it using our 4-wheeler w/ a blade on it, but we really weren’t expecting such a blanket of snow and weren’t prepared before he had to go to work. I enjoy shoveling, I know I’m crazy…but hey it’s a way to get exercise…I’m always sore the day after—should tell me something huh! But I knew that I had to go out to clean the driveway/porch off because I had Achievement Day and knew if I didn’t my house would be a wet mess! Logan thought it was so fun to help me shovel the 4 ½ inches of fluffy snow. He giggled and giggled. It took us a bit longer than I anticipated, but it was well worth it. So we finally put his “last season” blue boots to good use…

Here's some other highlights of December so far...
Sometime during the night Logan must have ventured out of his room and nested himself soundly on the floor. He had Teddy snuggled tightly under his chin and he didn’t move a muscle as Stacey & I quietly tip-toed around him. We stood chuckling & staring at him! I couldn’t help but grab the camera because it was such a sweet moment and he looked so precious.

Logan has the cutest personality. He is so much like his daddy. Very PARTICULAR! On a daily basis he takes a good portion of his toys and strategically places them all in a long line. He gets very upset if they get out of order or someone messes with him. He has a lot of patience to learn before Boston is old enough to play! For now though I enjoy watching him think things through on his own and work out his frustrations. I just nicely say-- relax & think it through. He does & I think it makes him proud of himself.

I finished my first Digital Scrapbook Kit...Introducing "Busy Bee". I'm no pro, but it was fun to design and I am looking forward to doing more!
