{DE}lish...

Last week I tried something new for Logan's lunch. New for Logan that is. To most kids his age PB&J sandwiches are the favorite of choice. To Logan-- not so much. One piece of wheat bread cut in half smothered with creamy peanut butter on one side and homemade raspberry-huckleberry jam on the other... pressed together to make a decedent peanut butter and jam sandwich. Most kids like this right? It would get rejected by Logan every time I'd try. BUT- alas! Finally his taste buds are catching up… he likes chocolate now, and other sweets—and PB&J sandwiches! He finished off the whole—well half sandwich! And he enjoyed it… not one word of encouragement (or threat) from me to EAT! We both died laughing when I said to him, see it’s DE—Lish! He mocked me with DE—LiSSSSHHHHH!... as the big bite of PB&J came shooting out of his mouth on me. It kind of shocked us both and we thought it was totally funny. I guess I need to teach him better not to talk with his mouth full!

P.S. Now Stacey is on antibiotics...he's had a temperature of 101 all day and feels really poopy... and Logan has Pink Eye. Why on earth can't we kick this?!
